OSSTF Leadership and meeting with Minister Murray.

OSSTF/FEESO Leadership Conference 2012

Leadership 2012 was held from August 15 - 18 in Toronto.  It gave the opportunity for local leadership of OSSTF/FEESO to attend workshops on various topics and network with fellow members from around the province.  Topics covered included responsible usage of social media, workplace accommodations following an accident or illness, current legal issues, dealing with the employer, amongst many others.

OSSTF/FEESO represents staff at 5 Ontario universities (Algoma, Brock, Guelph, Ottawa and Wilfrid Laurier) and had a special opportunity to meet with the Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities, Glen Murray to discuss a wide variety of topics.

Also, a reminder the Ministry has published a working paper on post-secondary education in Ontario, and we encourage all PSUO-SSUO members to read it and to submit their feedback.
