2014 Educational Services Conference Fueling our Fire / Alimenter notre feu Call for Presenters

The provincial Educational Services Committee is hosting its next biennial professional development
conference – Fueling our Fire / Alimenter notre feu.

The 2014 conference will be held at the International Plaza Hotel & Conference Centre Toronto
Airport (formerly the Doubletree by Hilton) on Thursday, November 6 & Friday, November 7,
2014. This conference will provide participants with information that will enlighten and encourage OSSTF/FEESO members in their varied educational roles.

We are currently inviting proposals for workshops, highlighting new and proven strategies to
support teachers and educational workers in elementary, secondary and university settings.
OSSTF/FEESO members and our many colleagues are invited to submit a workshop application
form relating to the theme of the conference.

Suggested topics include:
•  First Nations, Metis and Inuit Issues
•  Adult Education
•  Health & Wellness
•  Activism in Education
•  Technology to Inspire
•  Time Management
•  Promoting Leadership
•  Meaningful Responses to Important Issues
